Launching a token
Launching is free and needs no wallet and no login. Give the token a name, a ticker, an image and the Telegram @username of the person who should get the fees. They don’t need to be on Telepad. Pass a quick human check and tap launch.
Telepad gives the launch its own deployer wallet and pays its on-chain costs. The deployer uploads the metadata, creates the token on Pump.fun and locks the fee split. You never sign anything; follow it live on the launch page, or log in with Telegram to find it later in your profile.
You can also launch from our Telegram bot: send it /launch in a private chat and answer a few questions. One bot launch per account every few hours, and a daily cap for everyone, keep it free and spam-free.
The 80/20 split
The deployer is the token’s creator on Pump.fun. In the launch, it writes a fee-sharing configuration with two shareholders: the token’s claim vault (80%) and the $TELEPAD treasury (20%). Pump.fun then revokes the right to change it. Anyone can check it on-chain.
What the deployer has left after creating the token pays the network fee of future claims.
Claiming fees
The recipient logs in with Telegram and opens Inbox. Every token that pays their @username is listed with its balance.
To claim, they paste any Solana address. Telepad distributes pending fees and sends the whole vault balance in one transaction, and pays the network fee. Nothing to sign, no wallet to connect.
Each claim needs a Telegram login less than 15 minutes old, and that login authorises one claim only.
Telegram identity
Until the first claim, a vault belongs to a @username. The first person to claim it with that username binds it to their stable Telegram ID. After that, renaming doesn’t matter, and a new owner of the old username can’t claim it.
So check the spelling when you launch: the recipient can’t be changed.
Custody and risks
Each token’s claim vault is a wallet controlled by Telepad until the recipient claims. It is custody by Telepad, not a trustless contract. Loss or compromise of Telepad’s vault key, or Telepad being offline, can delay or prevent claims.
Memecoins are volatile and can lose all their value. $TELEPAD gives no right to fees or returns. Telepad is not affiliated with Telegram, Pump.fun or Solana.
$TELEPAD buyback and burn
The treasury is $TELEPAD’s creator. Every minute, once 0.3 SOL of creator rewards is waiting, it collects them. Half of what was actually collected buys $TELEPAD on the market and burns it in the same transaction, within a per-run cap, a slippage limit and a reserve kept for free launches. Every burn is public in Activity.
The treasury also receives 20% of every Telepad token’s creator fees when they are distributed.
Quick answers
What does a launch cost?
Nothing. Telepad pays the on-chain costs.

Can I launch for myself?
Yes. Tap “It’s me” to use your own @username.
